The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) is seeking residents’ input in an online survey about their travel experience in the region. The purpose of the survey is to help identify travel needs and to develop new travel services for the 12-county central Ohio region including Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Knox, Licking, Madison, Marion, Morrow, Pickaway, Ross and Union counties.
MORPC encourages everyone in central Ohio to take the survey by Sunday, July 18, via the following link: http://tdm.questionpro.com. The survey will take about 12 minutes to complete and all answers are confidential.
“With gasoline prices expected to rise, many folks are finding reliable and affordable transportation to their jobs hard to come by. With air quality and climate change in the forefront, MORPC and our region must be creative in providing more transportation options to our residents,” states Robert Lawler, MORPC Director of Transportation.
This questionnaire is part of a larger study to assess attitudes and perceptions about transit, carpooling, vanpooling, biking and walking. The study also includes a comparison of transportation options provided in other similar cities and interviews with regional employers and governments.
The link to the survey can also be found at www.morpc.org.
MORPC is a voluntary association of 47 local governments in central Ohio serving the region through planning, direct service, public policy information and innovative programming and intergovernmental coordinating services in the areas of transportation, land use, energy conservation, the environment and housing.
