Central Ohio Road Projects Review Held to Coordinate 2008 Area Road Construction(Columbus) The Paving the Way Program will host the sixth annual Central Ohio Road Projects Review Meeting on Tuesday, February 5. This meeting is held to promote communication, coordination and cooperation between the various agencies from different government jurisdictions that manage road construction projects in Central Ohio.
Representatives from the City of Columbus, ODOT, MORPC, COTA, Franklin County and area municipalities, such as Reynoldsburg, Hilliard and Pickerington, are expected share their planned road construction projects for 2008 including plans to maintain or detour traffic while construction is under way.
The meeting will be hosted and moderated by Paving the Way, Central Ohio’s road construction information and coordination program. The program will use the information to communicate road construction information to the community and help minimize any conflicts between projects. Paving the Way is a partnership of the City of Columbus, MORPC, ODOT and the Federal Highway Administration.
