Aided by new airlines and added flights, Port Columbus continues its double-digit rate of growth.
The airport’s passenger traffic increased 15.1 percent through August of this year compared with the same period a year ago. That places it among the fastest-growing airports in the country.
“Skybus has really put us over the top,” said Elaine Roberts, president and chief executive of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority. She also credited JetBlue Airway’s arrival at Port Columbus late last year, along with additional flights from Southwest and other airlines
