According to this recent story in the Dispatch, the percentage of on-time flights in 2007 so far has been the worst year on record.
It looks like Port Columbus sits just a hair below the national average:
The airline industry’s on-time performance in the first seven months of 2007 was its worst since comparable data began being collected in 1995.
Nationally, the top 20 carriers reported an on-time arrival rate of 69.8 percent in July.
At Port Columbus, the on-time arrival rate for July was 66.2 percent.
Flight delays in Columbus are largely the result of delays at more-congested airports.
