In checking out COTA’s website, I came to the startling realization that they have absolutely no idea how to market themselves. The small clipping you see above shows the only evidence I could find on thier website of a program to convince people to ride the bus. Wow.
In an era of high gas prices, rising transportation costs, and tight household budgets; you’d think cheap transportation alternatives would be an easier sell than ever, but COTA seems to be asleep at the wheel.
Rather than gripe, we’ll just open this one up for comments and ask, “If you were in charge of COTA’s marketing department (assuming they have one), how would you convince riders to take the bus instead?”
