Good news for downtown transit passengers
Bus shelters going in at Broad and High
The City – Dispatch BlogA day after formal presentation of a new Downtown plan that suggests routing buses away from High Street, COTA has received permission to build a new bus shelter.
On High Street.
The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board gave COTA its permission today to build two shelters, actually, on the Statehouse sides of High and Broad. Plans call for the shelters to fit in with Statehouse architecture; they’ll feature powder-coated wrought iron, copper roofs, tempered glass and stone.

its about time right? yay
It’s great news slightly overdue. Shelters for COTA patrons right in front of the Ohio Capitol whilst the tinted carraiges service worthy constituents from the rear. Makes a nice postcard.
